Terms of Service
These terms set out the rules for using SwiftDating. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
Effective: 5 October 20261. Who operates SwiftDating
SwiftDating is operated by Gavin Davies trading as SwiftDating, based at 4A Higher Market Street.
You can contact us at [email protected] .
2. Adults only
You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a SwiftDating account. You must not create an account for a child, pretend to be younger or older than you are, or use the service to contact children for dating or sexual purposes.
We may request information reasonably needed to check eligibility and may suspend or remove accounts where we believe the age requirement has not been met.
3. Your account
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your login details secure, and promptly telling us if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
You may only create an account for yourself. You must not impersonate another person, create deceptive profiles, operate automated or bulk accounts, or attempt to bypass a suspension or ban.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of content you upload or send, including profile text, photos and messages. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display, transmit, resize, moderate and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure and improve SwiftDating and enforce these terms.
You must have the right to share anything you upload. Do not upload content that infringes another person's privacy, copyright, image rights or other rights.
5. Prohibited content and behaviour
You must not use SwiftDating for illegal, abusive, deceptive or dangerous activity. This includes harassment, credible threats, stalking, fraud, scams, impersonation, sexual exploitation, grooming, child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, trafficking, terrorism-related activity, unlawful hate content, or attempts to facilitate another offence.
Our more detailed rules are in the Community Guidelines.
6. Moderation and safety
We may review reports, profile information, photos and other content and may remove content, restrict features, hide profiles, suspend accounts or permanently remove accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, our Community Guidelines, protect users, comply with law, or address security or abuse.
Where we become aware of content that we reasonably believe is illegal, we may remove it and take other proportionate steps. Where the law requires reporting to a competent authority, we may make that report.
7. Reports and complaints
Members can report another member using the reporting controls in the service. You can also use our complaints procedure for concerns about illegal content, moderation decisions, account action, or how our safety rules have been applied.
Please do not knowingly submit false, malicious or abusive reports.
8. Dating and meeting people offline
SwiftDating provides tools that help adults discover and communicate with other adults. We do not guarantee the identity, intentions, honesty, background, compatibility or conduct of any member.
Use your own judgement and follow our Dating Safety guidance before meeting anyone in person.
9. Availability and changes
We may change, maintain, suspend or discontinue parts of SwiftDating where reasonably necessary. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service, law, security requirements or our operating practices. Material changes will be brought to users' attention where required.
10. Ending your account
You can permanently delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account where these terms or our Community Guidelines are breached, where required by law, or where necessary to protect SwiftDating or its users.
Account deletion does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature must continue after termination.
11. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
SwiftDating is provided for personal, non-commercial use. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these terms or losses caused by another member's independent conduct.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also have rights to bring proceedings in your local courts.
